There are multiple options for pursuing education beyond high school including certificates, associate degrees and workforce bachelor’s degrees. More than 75% of Florida’s fastest growing occupations require one of these credentials. Many of these careers are in healthcare, information technology and business.
These occupations typically require one to two years of education allowing for a cost-effective way for students to start a career. Certificate programs range from practical nursing to welding to information technology and are offered at both Florida College System institutions and district technical centers.
Federal financial aid is available to qualified students. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available here.
